NavAlarm is a universal NMEA 2000 audible alert sounder. With a 102dB output, it’s super loud and built tough too with IPX5 construction for mounting in noisy and challenging areas.
It fits quickly as all that’s required is a spare node/T piece in the NMEA 2000 network. It’s directly powered from the network too so there’s no need for external power.
Any NMEA 2000 alert PGN (data sentence) activates the alarm and there’s an acknowledgement/silence button on the device too. Going forward, the NMEA organisation has mandated all MFDs to output alert PGN information onto the NMEA 2000 network so there’s a universally reliable method in the marine industry for important alerts.
