KS30 – VHF Antenna for AIS

KS30 is a 1m VHF antenna for AIS (tuned 162 MHz) designed specifically for use with Digital Yacht transponders.  

It ships with 5m RG58 coax and with the BNC connector fitted for direct connection to the transponder. It will offer exceptional VSWR characteristics and an omni-directional radiation pattern. The antenna features a thick wall 1.4mm external tapered tube which is foam filled to ensure long life and reliability. It features a standard female threaded 1” base so will fit a wide variety of standard deck, pole, rail and ratchet mounts from 3^rd party suppliers. The antenna is DC grounded.

It’s ideal for use on cabin tops or radar arches and can also be mounted to a stern rail using the ZSHA4720 rail mount.
